Over 50 years ago, in 1967, Dr. Kazuhiko Asai successfully synthesized organogermanium by chemical reactions of germanium with semiconductor property with organic compounds . This is a soluble compound and was named poly-trans-2-carboxyethyl-germasesquioxane (Ge-132) in those days . At pre- sent, this compound, which is generally called organogermanium (Ge-132), namely Asaigermanium (Ge-132), has won admiration as a safe substance without side effects  . Regrettably, now, this Ge-132 is known by very few medical doctors but not by most medical doctors. Because, Ge-132 was not registered as a medicine through a lot of nasty tricks by a major pharmaceutical company. Consequently, the Germanium Research Institute got advice from a famous clinician that it should be sold on the open market as health food as quickly as possible to avoid prolonging the stalemate to overcome the barrier and to offer a health boost to many people.
At present, Ge-132 has been recognized by Certification Registration System of Foundation for Public Interest and Health, Japan Health and Nutritional Food Association .
Ge-132 induces recovery from various cancers and virus diseases   . Cancer cells and viruses are foreign substances in a living body. These foreign substances are exterminated by natural killer (NK) cells and macrophages which are activated through increasing bio-synthesis and secretions of γ-interferon in the living body by Ge-132   .
Moreover, Ge-132 regulated the levels of active oxygen species in the body. Namely, Ge-132 suppressed the activities of NAD(P)H-oxidase and xanthine oxidase (XOD) as superoxide-forming enzymes and besides prompted the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) as a superoxide-scavenging enzyme and catalase (CAT) as an enzyme responsible for degradation of H2O2  . Furthermore, Ge-132 activated the bio-synthesis of the fresh red blood cells . As a result, oxygen levels rose in blood. Namely, freshly activated red blood cells gave a boost to uptake of oxygen . Therefore, Ge-132 will probably act to ease respiratory disorders in the lung for COVID-19 crisis. In short, the function of Ge-132 is remarkably superior to the medicine.

Since 2019, many people in the world have been troubled by COVID-19. This pandemic phenomenon doesn’t seem to come to an end for the time being. The governments in the world have recommended vaccinating many people against infection/contagion of COVID-19. However, this vaccination is not without risk. Moreover, after the vaccination, this virus infection often seems to arise again.
Therefore, the vaccination seems to be incomplete medical cure as a countermeasure for COVID-19. In these circumstances, Ge-132 is probably very effective against COVID-19 as compared with the vaccine. Because, COVID-19 virus is also a kind of foreign substances in a living body as well as the different viruses. Therefore, Ge-132 will probably accomplish an end of COVID-19 crisis by functions of NK cells and macrophages activated by Ge-132 as mentioned above.

Here it is mentioned that Ge-132 contributes greatly to many patients with cancers and virus diseases like the contents of the books    and papers   . In short, Ge-132 has superior effects as compared with medicines as follows:
1) Many persons suffered from terminal cancers like prostate, stomach, liver, pancreas, uterus, etc., other incurable & intractable diseases like Bechcet’s syndrome, SMON, softening of the brain, aplastic anemia, asthma, spinal disc herniation, etc., and the other diseases, are making a good recovery by Ge-132 .
