The Emphases and Strategies of University Student Management from the Perspective of People-Oriented
Abstract: Student management is an important part of college education and a key factor in determining the level of talent cultivation in colleges and universities. Under the people-oriented perspective, the management of college students should start from the needs of students, seek truth from facts, ensure that students have a good learning environment, help students form a reasonable career plan, and guide students to form scientific values. This is a people-oriented perspective. Under the key content of college student management. In order to better enhance the efficiency of college student management, colleges and universities should clarify the management responsibilities of student management, increase resource input in student management, strengthen student ideological and political education and guidance, ensure that the reasonable needs of students are met, and ensure that students are integrated The literacy is improved to ensure that the students’ values are formed smoothly.

1. Introduction

For a long time, student management has been an important part of higher education and a key factor in determining the level of talent cultivation in colleges and universities. With the deepening of the reform of higher education, the development requirements of schools and society on students are constantly improving. Therefore, a sound student management system has been established, the daily education management of college students has been strengthened, and the overall coordination and sustainability of college students’ knowledge, abilities, and qualities have been promoted. It has developed into the focus of college student management. Good student management can not only provide students with a good study environment, but also help students form a correct outlook on life, world outlook, and values, and guide students to grow, become talented, and succeed. Entering a new era, the people-oriented student management concept has been rapidly popularized and widely used, and major colleges and universities generally attach importance to the satisfaction of student needs in student management work, which has laid a solid foundation for the sustainable development of my country’s higher education. Theoretically speaking, the people-oriented concept of student management is a student-centered and student management approach based on the satisfaction of students’ reasonable needs, which plays an important role in promoting the level of education in colleges and universities. Based on the perspective of people-oriented student management, this article mainly explores the key points and strategies of college student management, hoping to benefit the student management work of colleges and universities (Shi, 2012) .

2. The Key Content of College Student Management under the People-Oriented Perspective

In order to more accurately explore the strategies of university student management under the people-oriented perspective, this article first analyzes the key points of university student management under the people-oriented perspective. The research conclusion is that: under the people-oriented perspective, the management of university students should be based on the needs of students The starting point, seeking truth from facts, ensuring that students have a good learning environment, helping students to form a reasonable career plan, and guiding students to form scientific values are the key contents of college student management from a people-oriented perspective (Jin, 2015) .

2.1. Based on the Satisfaction of Students’ Basic Needs, to Ensure That Students Have a Good Learning Environment

Based on the satisfaction of the basic needs of students, to ensure that students have a good learning environment, this is the primary task of college student management from a people-oriented perspective.

On the one hand, as we all know, survival is the first need of human beings. In order for students studying in colleges and universities to succeed in their studies, they must have a good living environment. Therefore, from a people-oriented perspective, colleges and universities must first provide students with a good living and learning environment to ensure that students can live in a safe, comfortable, and comfortable environment (Luo, 2018) . Studying in a warm, positive, and progressive environment and atmosphere will give students a better learning experience.

On the other hand, learning knowledge is the main goal for students to study in colleges and universities. Therefore, the people-oriented concept of student management requires colleges and universities to pay attention to the construction of teaching infrastructure, such as classroom teaching equipment, laboratory software and hardware environment, etc., to continuously improve the teaching environment of teachers, so that students can better learn professional knowledge and improve The effectiveness of subject teaching in colleges and universities gives students a sense of gain and fulfillment in the process of studying in colleges and universities.

2.2. Pay Attention to the Cultivation of Students’ Comprehensive Literacy and Help Students form a Reasonable Career Plan

Paying attention to the cultivation of students’ comprehensive literacy and helping students to form a reasonable career plan is the core point of the management of college students from a people-oriented perspective.

First, each college of a university should form a social practice teaching system outside of classroom teaching based on its own disciplinary characteristics (Ma, 2019) . The core content is: based on the disciplinary characteristics of students in various majors, carry out a variety of practical and academic activities, so as to improve the academic disciplines of colleges and universities. Classroom teaching forms a useful teaching supplement and continuously improves students’ professional qualities.

Second, based on the competitive situation of market employment, combined with the basic characteristics of students’ professional disciplines, the student management staff of each college should supervise and guide students to learn related skills and improve the level of general skills, such as English, computer and other ability certificates (Qu, 2015) .

Third, it is necessary to gradually give students planning guidance for career development, help students sort out a clear path of life development, clarify the career development goals of college students, and ensure that college students have a full school career.

2.3. Highlight the Guidance of Students’ Values and Guide Students to form Scientific Values

Highlighting the guidance of student values and guiding students to form scientific values is one of the important tasks of college student management under the people-oriented perspective. The university period is a key stage for college students to form their outlook on life, world outlook, and values (Xu, 2014) . Therefore, colleges and universities must pay attention to the guidance and cultivation of college students’ values.

First of all, colleges and universities should pay necessary attention to the mental health of college students. When students’ mood fluctuates greatly, they must promptly give guidance and attention to ensure the mental health of college students.

Secondly, it is necessary to moderately relieve the students’ pressure on studying and employment, and prevent students from going astray due to poor self-emotion management.

In addition, college student management workers must give full play to the value and role of the Communist Youth League and student organizations, and conduct a wide range of activities and practical activities to improve students’ various qualities and enthusiasm for learning.

At this level, what colleges and universities need to do is to strengthen the moral education of college students, strengthen moral education in the two dimensions of daily life and classroom teaching, and continuously improve the ability of students to distinguish right from wrong, so that college students can form correct values and character.

3. Strategies for the Management of College Students from a People-Oriented Perspective

Based on the analysis of the key content of college student management from the people-oriented perspective, combined with the actual situation of college student management, this article explores the strategies of college student management from the people-oriented perspective.

The management of students in colleges and universities should not only pay attention to general management rules, but also start from the individual characteristics of students, adhere to the principle of “student-oriented”, clarify the job positioning of various functional departments and personnel, and find the right entry point for work. In order to improve the effectiveness of student management, we must proceed from the needs of students’ growth, attach importance to both the cultivation of students’ professional qualities, the improvement of their ideological and moral qualities and the cultivation of good psychological and physical qualities, so as to provide students with high-quality Serve and create a good environment to promote their all-round development (Yan, 2019) .

The research conclusion is that: to better improve the management of college students Effectiveness, colleges and universities should clarify the management responsibilities of student management work, increase resource input for student management work, strengthen student ideological and political education and guidance, ensure that the reasonable needs of students are met, ensure that the comprehensive literacy of students is improved, and that the values of students are smooth forming (Yin, 2020) .

3.1. Clarify the Management Responsibilities of Student Management and Ensure That the Reasonable Needs of Students Are Met

It is clear that the management responsibility of student management is the basic strategy of college student management under the people-oriented perspective, and its core goal is to ensure that the reasonable needs of students are met. First, students need a safe and comfortable environment that allows them to study carefully. A good living environment is the most basic requirement of students. Second, students need experienced teachers for efficient teaching, and there will be more urgent requirements for the school’s teaching level and teaching equipment. Third, students expect the school to provide more guidance for further studies and employment.

First of all, it is necessary to further improve the work system of college student management, and to dynamically adjust and optimize the relevant student management system in combination with the changes in the teaching focus of colleges and universities, avoid the disconnection between the management system of colleges and universities and the actual situation of college student management, and improve The degree of agreement between the policy system and the actual situation.

Secondly, it is necessary to clarify the main responsibility of student management in colleges and universities, form an effective work incentive and restraint system, truly inspire the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of teachers and administrative assistants for student management, and improve the effectiveness of student management in colleges and universities (Yu, 2013) .

Finally, it is necessary to give full play to the important role of student organizations in student management, improve the effectiveness of colleges and universities in student management by strengthening the management of student leaders, student unions and various clubs, and achieve fine management of student management.

3.2. Increase the Resource Input of Student Management Work to Ensure That the Comprehensive Literacy of Students Is Improved

Increasing the input of resources in student management is a key strategy for university student management under the human-oriented perspective, and its core goal is to ensure that the comprehensive quality of students is improved. As mentioned earlier, colleges and universities must continuously improve their own teaching conditions in order to meet the needs of students. But it should also be emphasized that in addition to classroom teaching, colleges and universities should give students more learning opportunities and learning platforms.

In the field of professional disciplines, colleges and universities should actively introduce various well-known scholars and frontier experts to colleges and universities to conduct academic activities and lectures, open the window of knowledge for students, and help students understand the frontier scientific research trends of various disciplines (Yuan, 2016) .

In the field of employment and entrepreneurship, colleges and universities should give full play to the guiding role of employment guidance centers, build student employment platforms and entrepreneurial incubation platforms, and guide students to start their own businesses.

In the field of life and entertainment, colleges and universities should actively carry out various healthy and progressive recreational activities to help students form a healthy body and psychology (Zheng, 2018) .

3.3. Strengthen the Education and Guidance of Students’ Ideology and Politics to Ensure the Smooth Formation of Students’ Values

Strengthening the education and guidance of students’ ideology and politics is an important supplementary strategy in the management of college students from the perspective of people-oriented. Its core goal is to ensure the smooth formation of students’ values.

First, colleges and universities should actively integrate their own publicity resources, increase the publicity of ideological and political education, effectively consolidate the effect of ideological and political classroom teaching, and ensure that students form a correct outlook on life, world outlook, and values.

Second, colleges and universities should pay attention to the construction of teaching assistants and give full play to the important role of instructors in the ideological and political education of students.

Third, it is necessary to extensively carry out social practice activities, strengthen the ideological and political teaching of colleges and universities in practice, and strengthen the attention and guidance of students’ thinking (Zhou, 2014) . Fourth, it is necessary to be good at carrying out team-study activities to stimulate students’ enthusiasm and enthusiasm for ideological and political learning.

4. Research Conclusion

All in all, student management is the top priority of college education. It is a comprehensive, complex, and artistic systematic work. Under the modern higher education system, the management of students in colleges and universities is by no means a simple management of student life, but a comprehensive management that integrates the three aspects of life, learning, and development. The goal is to meet the reasonable needs of students (Zhu, 2018) . Optimizing the teaching management system and procedures of colleges and universities to ensure that students can not only learn the professional knowledge and skills of the subject, but also form the correct values, ensure the physical and mental health of stuents, and truly cultivate high-quality talents for the modernization of socialism.

As we all know, the current pressure on college student management is mainly manifested in: First, with the enrichment of material culture, college students have higher and higher requirements for the living environment, and college students have an urgent need to improve the school’s living environment. Second, the rapid development of the Internet makes the values of college students easily affected, so it is more difficult for colleges and universities to guide the values of college students. Third, with the rapid improvement of teaching quality, Chinese college students have also put forward higher requirements for the teaching level of teachers and the teaching facilities of the school.

Based on the basic status quo of current college student management, this article believes that the following three aspects should be emphasized to make student management more efficient.

First, clarify the responsibilities of college student management. The goal is to increase the enthusiasm of teachers and assistant administrators in student management. This requires colleges and universities to accelerate reforms in the management of faculty and staff, form a good assessment system, and truly stimulate teachers. The enthusiasm and sense of responsibility of the staff in the management of students truly serve the students well (Zhang, 2017) .

Second, increase the funding input for student management, with the goal to better meet the needs of students’ life and study. But it must also be clear that colleges and universities must be more scientific, reasonable, and sustainable in increasing funding. First of all, university administrators must respect the wishes of students and teachers, and give limited funds to the areas where students need it most. Secondly, the increase in the management funds for college students should be more transparent, and the use of various funds should be more transparent and open, to ensure that the use of funds can be supervised by the majority of teachers and employees, and to ensure that the effectiveness of the use of funds is continuously improved.

Third, strengthen ideological and political education in universities and guide students to form correct values, outlook on life, and world outlook. It should be clear that ideological and political education in colleges and universities is not only the work of ideological and political teachers, but the work of all faculty and staff. Ideological and political education in colleges and universities should not only be taught in ideological and political classrooms, but also on various platforms and media on and off campus. It is necessary to strengthen the ideological and political discourse power of colleges and universities in the field of Internet platforms, so as to realize the value of college students.

In summary, under the people-oriented perspective, the management of college students should start from the needs of students, seek truth from facts, ensure that students have a good learning environment, help students form a reasonable career plan, and guide students to form scientific values. Colleges and universities should clarify the management responsibilities of student management, increase the resource input of student management, strengthen the education and guidance of students’ ideology and politics, and truly enhance the effectiveness of student management in colleges and universities.

It is true that this article has carried out a detailed analysis of the key points and countermeasures of the management of college students, but the research method of this article is qualitative research, and further quantitative empirical research methods are needed to enhance the value of the research.
